Ex girlfriend crying? What does it mean?

Its been about 3 months since my girlfriend broke up with me. We fought a lot and she lost interest in me. A lot has happend, and i do still like her a lot. The other night she asked me if i still liked her, i asked her why she asked that. She told me that people told her that since i still like her, other guys dont like her. I know that isnt true, because if another guy liked her i wouldnt interfere. So after telling her not to blame me that guys dont like her, we got on another subject. I eventually told her i still really like her, and miss what we had. She said im sorry we always fight, and i just dont feel the same way about you as i used to so i dont know what to do, im so sorry for hurting you, im so so sorry. Then apparently she called my friend and was crying, asking what to do and such. She said she feels bad about it all the time. I said well I can't get you to like me again so nvm, ill leave you alone. And she said no I still wanna be friends, and I said I don't know to that.So oviously she feels bad for hurting me, which means she cares. But is this a good or bad thing? And is there anyway to possibly bring back feelings she had for me? I've been trying to get her back for 3 months now..Help would great, thanks.
