My boyfriend says he's been feeling wierd lately?

we were at a party and he seemed really quiet and them he left then texted me "mehh" and i said "what?" and he said "idk i just want to talk..." and to me that sounded bad so i flipped out a little...and then i said "what???" and he said "lately i just want alone time with you idk i'm feeling wierd lately" and i was like "wat do you mean wierd" and he's like "nvm" i hate when he doesn't explain his feelings to me.....can any guys translate what he was trying to get at?
