What is my ex trying to say?

My ex and I broke up about two months ago and to be honest, I still miss him. We're slowly starting to talk again. Not about us, just things in general and we smile at each other at school. I don't think he knows I still feel this way about him. Yesterday I posted a "tbh" status on Facebook (to be honest) and he texted me, wanting me to tell him a "tbh". I said "tbh I miss you and I'm glad we're talking again" and he responded with "tbh I miss you too and really enjoyed the time we had together" I said I did too, and he said "I feel like that hardly sums up our relationship" I'm not sure what he meant, we were together for almost a year. Any suggestions? Also two nights ago we were talking and I was saying how I was heading to bed and he said "Oh I was just about to say am I picking you up tomorrow... nvm good night Antonia" Thanks.
