Why do I like older guys?

I'm only 15 and people at school always ask me who I like so I desided to lie about it and said a guy in our school but one day desided that I had to tell me friend the truth and he was like OMG Eww and that I'm crazy and stuff so I never told anyone else. I normally like guys in their 30s-50s is it normal or am I crazy?
