How do i know if he likes me and if i should try to take it a bit farther and to do that?

he used to like me four years ago and then we stopped talking to me for some reason and then he started talking to me over facebook but we have r little arguments but we still talk and i told him to be secret friend.... and once he asked me to hang out and becuz i was so nervous i kept saying no so he got mad then the next day i told him that i would where ever he wanted to and then he told me nah nvm.... and he looks at me at school ... and even though im young i feel like i lub him.. omg idk what to do!
