Need a tip probably gonna own a rottweiler soon ^^?

ok so im probably gonna get a rottweiler dog and he is gonna be my only friend for a while cus im gonna move far far far away from europe and just wondering if someone would rob me or attack me or something like that then i should just tell my dog i be right back and then be robbed or something cus i dont want him to try and help me and then get stabbed! just wondering lol and how should i handle his death ;O? never owned a dog that died my mom just ah nvm long story anyways :D!
